When the poems in the magazine are looked at from a thematic perspective, it can be said that the poems have a wide range of themes. We mainly encounter themes such as sadness, separation, love, affection, longing, death and loneliness. The magazine includes local poets as well as foreign poets. Among them, names such as İrfan Yıldız, Azer Yaran and Kaya Demiral stand out. The magazine undertakes a very important task in continuing poetry magazine publishing in the provinces. The aim of this study is to examine the journal Uzak Şiir Seçkisi, published in the provinces, in terms of form, content and writer staff.
