The effects of supply chain integration on business performance: Retail business case

In today's conditions, businesses should adapt to new technological developments and integrate them into their own management and work areas in order to provide competitive advantage and meet customer needs in the best way. These emerging technologies contribute to the process by constantly generating new ideas in order to ensure that businesses are efficient. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of new technologies in the supply chain, such as unmanned vehicles, internet of things, artificial intelligence, cloud, robots, 3D printers, big data, on retail companies. The extent to which these decisions will contribute to the business processes is examined. With this research, it is tried to have information about the approaches of retail businesses to new technologies and which ones they include in their processes. The application of technologies will increase productivity by creating a dynamism in the retail sector. Within the scope of the research, data were obtained from experts working in the food and market retail sectors. After determining the reliability level of the survey results, the information technologies used by the enterprises in the integration process and their effects on the enterprise were investigated. As a result of all these studies, opinions were expressed on the effective methods and effects of using new technologies in the supply chain sector.
