Abstract (EN)

Sustainability means using existing resources in the most effective and efficient way to meet the needs of future and current generations. Nowadays, with the increase in social and economic problems as well as global environmental problems, the issue of sustainability in the supply chain of the automotive industry has become increasingly important. In the study, a comprehensive literature review was conducted on sustainability risks in the automotive industry. At the same time, experts in the field from Turkey's leading logistics company were consulted. After all these data collection and literature scanning processes, as well as surveys conducted with experts, 5 sustainability dimensions and 35 different sustainability risks were determined. A total of 40 risk strategies were proposed in this study to reduce the identified sustainability risks. In problems where there is risk, there are situations of uncertainty and probability. IVN (Interval Valued Neutrosophic) sets were used in this study because they respond well to uncertainty situations and eliminate situations such as inconsistency and uncertainty. Three different methods were used to prioritize risk strategies: IVN fuzzy EDAS, IVN fuzzy TOPSIS and IVN fuzzy CODAS, and these methods were compared with each other and sensitivity analyzes were conducted for each of them. The best risk strategy for all three methods was determined as risk strategy number 17. Accordingly, the most appropriate approach for companies is; It has been determined that companies develop legal compliance procedures and programs and comply with existing regulations/principles. In this study, IVN fuzzy EDAS, IVN fuzzy TOPSIS and IVN fuzzy CODAS methods were applied for the first time to the issue of sustainability risks in the automotive industry. At the same time, this study aims to contribute to the literature by adding managerial and organizational dimensions to sustainability dimensions.
