Abstract (EN)

The effects of globalization increase the competition among the companies. In order to respond to customers' changing product and service demand in a flexible manner, the company must give importance to supply chain management (SCM) within the framework of customer-oriented approach. In order to eliminate inefficiencies on the chain, to develop and improve customer satisfaction within strategic objectives, a supply chain management approach must be developed. Supply chain management is an integrative continuous development of the chain's management and performance evaluation activities. There are many performance evaluation methods in the literature. In 1996, the Supply Chain Council (SCC) developed a Supply Chain Reference Model (SCOR) as an inter-industry standard. The basis of the SCOR model is the identification, measurement and continuous improvement of the supply chain processes with an integrative approach. Within the scope of this research, statistical researches were conducted to explain the relationships between the variables that determine the characteristics of the supply chain activities of a company operating in the bicycle sector. Evaluation questions are prepared based on SCOR model V12.0 metrics and directed to the supply chain manager. The aim is to evaluate the relationships in the supply chain management of the bicycle sector. The factors affecting the supplier selection criteria and the questions related to evaluating supplier performance are rated with 5-point Likert scale. Before factor analysis, the suitability of the data was measured by the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test and the Barlett Sphericity test. Factors affecting supplier selection were tested with factor analysis and the hypotheses established were analyzed. The effect of the dependent variables on the market situation was analyzed by t-test analysis and the supplier selection factors on the sectoral basis were analyzed by the One-Way Anova technique.
