The effects of dangerous goods logistics management on logistics performance of enterprises: The case of chemical industry

The aim of this study is to analyze the effects of hazardous material logistics management on logistics performance of enterprises. In this context, the research problems are "Does hazardous material transportation have an impact on logistics performance? Is there a difference between hazardous material transportation, logistics performance and demographic characteristics of employees? The population of this research is 6000 people working in 120 enterprises operating in the chemical sector in Tuzla Chemical Industrialists Organized Industrial Zone. The scales used in obtaining the data of the research are; Assessment of Hazardous Material Transportation Scale and Logistics Performance Scale. Reliability analysis, frequency analysis, regression analysis and differecy analysis were applied to the data from the questionnaires in SPSS 21 program.
