Abstract (EN)
It is crucial to store hazardous materials in the right place, right time and in the desired way in logistics activities. That's the fundamental reason of multiple alternatives. Alternatives must allow multi-mode transportation to ensure storage in accordance with the nature of hazardous substances, with minimum logistic costs, maximum utilization and safety. Since there are many qualitative and quantitative criteria in the selection of hazardous materials storage location, multi criteria decision making model is proposed. In this study, initially the weights of criteria are calculated by AHP method. Then, in the evaluation of hazardous material storage areas, TOPSIS and WASPAS methods are used to select the most appropriate hazardous material storage location. It is considered that the proposed model can be projected for the selection of storage places in private and public institutions, especially for hazardous materials, which can be consumed and not consumed.
