Abstract (EN)
Since the 2006-2007 Educational year, a different curriculum of Technology and Design classes has been put into practice instead of Handcraft classes at primary schools. With this study, it has been searched whether this curriculum is suitable for the conditions of the present and future, or not. In the research, the teachers who have performed the curriculums of both of the subjects have been chosen. The views and thoughts of the specified teachers, who have compared the curriculums of the Technology and Design lessons, are tried to be determined.If the purpose is to fit in for our children who are our future, we have to make sure that the curriculum applied in schools has to have traits that prepare them for the future as well. As a result of the research, the curriculum of the Technology and Design lessons has many positive aspects. Besides, it has been determined that it also has some defects because of some reasons.
