Abstract (EN)
Television is a mass communication tool that attracts the audience every day and is followed by everyone. For many people, television is the most important accessory of the place and one of the most indispensable devices. The structure which constantly renews itself and has quite different dynamics from other mass communication tools, is always important. Television with its attractive programs, advertisements, shows, competitions and contents which are changing day by day with differentiating techniques, affects the people and families, and creates different perceptions on family individuals. By taking individuals to different worlds, differentiating, directing them and influencing their dialogue, television has trivialized the family and almost everything that is today's most important institutions. In this study, the effect of watching television on the family relations was investigated. The main goal of this study is to determine if there is a relation between watching televisions and family relations, and if there is, finding the level of influence between these two concepts and stating the relation of watching television on family relationships
