Abstract (EN)
In this study, the life and plays of the world-famous writer Tennessee Williams will be examined first in detail. Through this careful analysis, how his family and love life is reflected on his plays will be discussed. Three chosen plays-This Property is Condemned, The Lady of Larkspur Lotion and Portrait of a Madonna- will be analyzed. Later, a text will be created after the common denominators of the main female characters in these three short plays will be determined. This created text will be handled in the context of childhood/adolescence, middle-age and old age periods of life through a woman's progress/walk in life. Each character here will be tried to be transformed into a single female character, preserving their unique characteristics and a performance will be presented.
