Abstract (EN)
Peltiers discovered in 1930's known as thermoelectric coolers which are used often for laser optical systems, processors of computers, vehicle refrigerators and chiller cooling devices used for air conditioning systems. Thermoelectric coolers have important advantages because of their energy saving and small foot print characteristics. In this thesis, bidirectional driver was designed and realized for using TEC (thermoelectric coolers) which were used to control operating conditions of sensitive systems. Cooling and heating functions were accomplished with the aid of changing direction of current by designed driver. Hence, desired temperature range was controlled very sensitive. Any specific system was not preferred as a place of use. In this study, PID which is frequently used in control loops, H-bridge, gate driver, PWM technique and electronic equipments in the driver circuit were mentioned in detail. Simulation and actual application results of the designed bidirectional current control drive circuit were presented.
