Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT Alkaloids of underground and aerial parts of Thalictrum orientate Boiss. collected from Niğde: Ulukışla in Turkey were investigated for the first time. Due to paucity of material, three alkaloids from the underground parts were characterized as fangchinoline (bisbenzylisoquinoline), fiizitine (aporphine) and berberine (protoberberine). Structure elucidation of two more aporphine alkaloids from the same part is under way. This is the first report on the occurrence of fangchinoline and fiizitine in the genus Thalictrum.
