Abstract (EN)
In this theoretical study, energy and exergy analysis of the air, water and ground source heat pumps used for residential heating in Gölbaşı district of Ankara were carried out. The lowest air and soil temperatures seen in the last ten years in the Gölbaşı district were provided from the Turkish State Meteorological Service and the lowest water temperature (the lowest temperature seen in Mogan Lake) seen in the last ten years was provided from General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works. In the heat pump cycle, R134a, R407a, R410a, R600a and R1234yf refrigerants were chosen as the working fluid. In the study, the coefficient of performance (COP) and exergy efficiency (_II) of each heat pump were calculated and compared at Gölbaşı conditions by selecting the same ambient temperature for the residence to be heated for each heat pump. According to this, it was concluded that the ground source heat pump has a better COP value than the air and water source heat pumps and air source heat pump has a better _II value than the water and ground source heat pumps for all refrigerants used as working fluid in this study at Gölbaşı conditions. In addition, it was observed that R600a refrigerant has a better performance than the other refrigerants for all type heat pumps.
