Evaluation of tibia fractures by external fixation in terms of materials and geometry elements

Computer aided applications are frequently used for pre-surgery planning and detailing. These systems basically function by observing the model obtained after the processing of the 3D scan data by the software with the help of the radiology images. These aims and methods are being used increasingly in order to make diagnosis-treatment planning, to be improved and to be taken into the practice of the surgeon. At the same time, such studies and applications are suitable methods for calculating the anatomically load bearing suitability of bone / soft tissue structures. The finite element method is also an application interface of this type and it is frequently preferred in the field of orthopedics and mechanics due to the solution accuracy of software in recent years. In the field of orthopedics, external fixation systems are widely used in the treatment of arm and leg fractures. Existing fasteners that are available or available have different types and restrictions in their area. In this study, the external fixation systems of the tibia from the lower extremity bones and the load carrying capacity after fracture detection will be evaluated for detection systems with different geometries and materials. In this way, a comparison with the external detection systems is presented. In addition, a new external detection system that can be constructed in different sizes and the geometric model of this system is obtained.
