Accounting education in commerce career high school and an application in Erzurum Commerce High School

Dr. Hayati AKSU The basic aim of this study is to find out whether the accounting education given in Commerce Career High Schools tied to the General Directorate of Commerce and Tourism Education is sufficient in terms of Ministry of Education. It is also analized if future requirements in terms of qualified personnel in this field will be met. In terms of providing the data a large literature scanning is carried out, notes obtained from meetings with related officials are edited; to support some of the obtained results an Application in Erzurum Commerce Career High School is conducted. Data about the application includes the opinions of the first, second and third class students of Erzurum Commerce Career High School's accounting department, accounting teachers of that classes, students that study skill education, coordinating teachers and teaching personnel of the workplaces in which skill education is carried. Data obtained form the questionnaire are processed through statistical evaluation program SPSS and the results are utilized and suggestions based on this utilization are made.
