Abstract (EN)

Purchase and sales activity is what distinguishes a business as a business. Printing or writing these things simplifies company life in terms of legal protection as well. Commercial registrations are subject to numerous legal requirements. The Turkish Commercial Code governed bookkeeping requirements, and the Code of Civil Procedure established qualifications for commercial registers. In addition to functioning as a proof of evidence for disputing parties and having evidential value, bookkeeping is required in order to explain business, monitor commercial activity, make investment decisions, and form alliances. Furthermore, bookkeeping has a quick impact on resolving legal inconsistencies. The ability of the inspected business register to serve as evidence helps judges make decisions more quickly while also lessening the workload density of the courts and protecting the law in areas where parties are at odds. Considering all these reasons, it is possible to say that keeping commercial books has an important legal equivalent.
