Abstract (EN)
Titanium and its alloys are widely used for biomedical applications due to their high biocompatibility, osseointegration and corrosion behavior. For this reason, it is very important to investigate and develop corrosion behavior of these materials. In this study, titanium and its alloys (Ti6Al4V) were subjected to anodizing treatment in different solutions and for a certain period and potentially to produce corrosion resistant oxide structures on their surfaces. Electrochemical behavior of Ti, Ti / TiO2, Ti6Al4V electrodes with these oxide structures formed; Cycle voltammetry technique and corrosion behavior (current-potential and Impedance curves, etc.) have been investigated in saline and artificial sweat solutions at 310 K in order to set the corrosion rates as an example for body fluids depending on the time. In addition, the liquid contact angle change and surface morphology (SEM) were determined for the specimens obtained from these potential solutions.
