Under the total quality management philosopy; A leader's style in the state of the students in the state schools: Düzce Yavuz Selim mtal

Total Quality Management practices are becoming more and more important in private and public sector. The "leader olan, which is one of its own elements, is of great importance for the success of TQM practices. The main purpose of the research is to determine the extent to which Toplam Quality Management philosophy is applied in public schools and to determine the students' perception of leader. As a result of these results, it was aimed to identify deficiencies related to TQM and leadership. The population of the study consists of students of Düzce Yavuz Selim Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. In the study, a questionnaire was applied to the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students of the school and questionnaire questions were prepared to determine the leadership approach which the school principal adopts more TQM philosophy and the school principal, and to determine what is ignored about the TQM in the school and how much the school principal applies the leadership approaches. The views of the students were tried to be determined. 468 questionnaires were obtained by using the sampling method and the data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed and interpreted in IBM SPSS STATISTIC 23 package program. Descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, T-test analysis, one-way anova analysis and post hoc test were performed in order to interpret the data obtained from the research in a healthy and consistent manner. As a result of the research, it was aimed to examine the opinions of the students about the leader, the extent to which the TQM fexe was applied in the school, the students' opinions about TQM and leadership approaches, the age, gender and class variables of the students and the differences of opinion about TQM and leadership approaches. From the data obtained from the analysis results of the study, it was observed that there was no difference between the participants' perception of age, gender and class variables and TQM and Leadership approaches. It has been observed that TQM philosophy is adopted by the school principal and applies a management style appropriate to leadership approaches.
