Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to reveal the reproduction of patriarchy in TV series in the context of gender. Especially when the TV contents are examined, it is seen that patriarchal roles have increased. As a result, the viewing rates of the contents, the way they reflect on society and their longevity on TV, while giving us how effective these contents are, on the other hand, their blending and presentation with patriarchal patterns greatly affected their share of views. The way TV reflects patriarchal serials to society and the way they function is also very important. TV creates patriarchal roles around popular patterns and presents them to the public. In order to realize the purpose of the study, the series "Bandit Does Not Rule the World", which is presented in patriarchal patterns that have a dominant role, has been the subject of the thesis as an example. The findings obtained as a result of the discourse analysis showed that TV series have the status of a source that feeds this situation in the context of the dimension of patriarchy in society and the prominence of gender.
