Abstract (EN)
In this study, experimental results of ground-air heat exchanger system, which was installed at Ege University, and the analysis results of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has been compared by using ANSYS 19.0 software. It has been found that computational error between the results of the analysis and experimental results is 9.83%. Due to the computational results, the thermal analysis of ground-air heat exchanger which is within the acceptable computational error range which can be found in the current literature. Before the establishment of such experimental models, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) can be performed for preliminary study and the system can be designed accordingly. The accuracy of this model's analysis which is confirmed by the experimental data, proves that it should work in different parameters. As an example, the diameter of the pipe can be changed, and the output can be obtained by analysis without re-installing the system.
