Abstract (EN)
To compare the Results of Total Abdominal Hysterectomy, Vaginal Hysterectomy and Laparoscopic HysterectomiesAim: To compare the results of total abdominal hysterectomy, vaginal hysterectomy and laparoscopic hysterectomies.Material and Method: 94 TAH patients, 94 VH patients and 47 LTH patiens were compared in terms of age, preoperative hematocrit values, operative time, postoperative hematocrit values, length of hospital stay, operating costs and complications between 2007-2011.Results: Mean age was calculated 48.9 (±8.0) in TAH group, 63.3 (±11.3) in VH grup and 50.7 (±9.0) in LTH grup. Mean age was found 52.4± 7.7 in patients WHO had histerectomy with BSO. Operating time was calculated 63.7 (±18.4) minutes in TAH group76.7 (±24.0) minutes in VH grup and 68.6 (±21.7) minutes in LTH grup. Length of hospital stay was found 2.8 (±2.1) days in TAH grup, 3.0 (±2.0)days in vh grup, 2.1 (±0.8) days in lth grup. Operating costs and the amount of bleeding in VH patiens were calculated less than TAH and LTH patients; as major complications bladder injury was developed in 1 person, bowel injury was developed in 1 person in TAH grup, bladder injury was developed in 1 person in VH grup, and ureter laceration developed in 1 person LTH. There were no minor complications in LTH group, vaginal robe hematoma was developed in 2 patients, in VH group, wound infection was developed in patient, febrile morbidity was developed in 1 patient in LTH group. Conclusion: Abdominal, vaginal and laparoscopic methods of hysterectomy, abdominal hysterectomy each with advantages and disadvantages are known but Abdominal hysterectomy more often applied to our clinic. With the increase of importance of laparoscopic hysterectomy in our clinic, to use laparoscopic hysterectomy is preferable instead of abdominal hysterectomy in patients that can not be vaginal hysterectomy.Key Words: Vaginal hysterectomy, total abdominal hysterectomy. Laparoscopic hysterectomy.
