Abstract (EN)
In this study, the specimens whose surfaces were plain and threaded were coated using flame spraying method and various powders were used by hot and cold coating processes. The behaviour of the coatings was investigated. Metallographic investigations showed that without being dependent upon the coating method used the hardness decreased on both specimens and surface roughness increased on plain specimens as the coating thickness increased. Optic microscopy studies revealed better substrate material-coating layer interface on threaded specimens. In addition, oxide, porosity and the amount of unmelted particles were not changed based on the surface properties of the substrate.Key Words Pager Number Advisor
