Abstract (EN)
In this study, the appearance of ISO 14001 Environmental ManagementSystem, its applicabilty to corporations, the standards of ISO 14001Environmental Management System and the characteristics of these standards,institutional benefits of the system to corporations, environmental dimension inthe international area, environmental dimension of Turkey and its policies inTurkey have been investigated.It has been determined that a firm which produces machine and is active inTurkey and has already got a pre- established Quality Management System,gives harm to environment. Later then to set up the relevant EnvironmentalManagement System which involves necessary precautions and corrections hasbeen planned, documanted, and implamented.
