In this study, determination of the structure, management status, marketing status and financial characteristics of trout farming enterprises operating in Tunceli Province is aimed at exploratory purposes. When the management and organization structure of the enterprises are examined, it is determined that 84% of the enterprises are privately owned and the management is usually carried out by the business owner. There are no processing, packaging, transport and human resources units at the enterprises. It is seen that 100% of the enterprises have production units, 12% are quality control units, 32% are marketing units, 28% are accounting units, 28% are purchasing units and 4% are AR-GE units. It has been determined that the fish produced are sold in 31.82% to wholesale, 29.55% to retail, 22.72% to the restaurant and 15.90% to the factory. It has been determined that commercial relations are important in marketing and that the proximity of markets is not important. In this study, feed costs constituted 68.03% of total operating expenses. After the feed expenses, the second highest expenditure goes to the fry with 7,11%. The economic profitability of the enterprises is found to be 34,91% on average. This rate indicates that trout farms are profitable.
