Abstract (EN)
Türbe Höyük was inhabited from the 6th millennium BC to the early 1st millennium BC, with a hiatus in settlement during the Early Bronze Age. The layers belonging to the Halaf, Ubaid, and Uruk periods were damaged by the subsequent Middle and Late Bronze Age layers. The Late Chalcolithic period was found in a more well-preserved state on the terrace area of the mound. Only a small number of architectural remains and pottery were identified. Among the examples consisting of plain and painted pottery groups, there are also local forms known as Coba bowls, characteristic of the Late Chalcolithic period. These Coba bowls show similarities to those discovered at Salat Tepe, Yenice Yanı, Kenan Tepe, and Başur Höyük in the Upper Tigris Valley.
