Abstract (EN)
In this study, the governing equations of three dimensional transonic potentialflow between blades of turbo machinery were derived by using finite volumemethod. The flow analysed is inviscid, compressible, transonic, potential, andadiabatic flow.Air is taken as working fluid at environmental counditions. Atfirst stage the volume of the transonic potential flow is divided into controlvolumes, and then control volumes are transformed from physical plane tocomputable plane. It is assumed that in control volumes flow equilibrium wasestablished, and flow analysis was performed. The numerical method wasapplied to the blade geometries given in literature, compared with the otherexprimental studies. It was obeserved that the results obtained are in agreementwith the results given in the literature.
