Evaluation of certain technological properties of clays which are used in brick and tile production in Turgutlu (Manisa) region

Clay soil as well as grain size and mineralogical perspective is quite different features than other groups to the ground. Brick and tile making in Turgutlu (Manisa) region engineering and technological properties of clays are examined. In this the sissamples taken from river clay pitregion Turgutlu (Manisa) Omerli sieve analysis, liquid limit, plastic limit, consolidation, compaction, hydrometrics tests were carriedout Samples 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1100 and 1200 0C in the special oven and cooked the optimum water conten twere tested for durability .How much water is drawn by bricks were fired at different temperatures Compressive strength of bricks was determined the impact on temperature change. Claysoil as a result of experiments carried out on samples of water contentor soil temperature change causedby a number of significant changes in properties were observed.In the first section, there levant entry is made, relevant information about previous studies.The second part, the clays were examined in detail the formation and properties of it and structure of clay minerals and clays oil, clay formation and the formation factors of species, given the classification of clays and clay composition for the determination of engineering properties of the major experiments are presented.The third section describes the method followed in experimental studies.
