Abstract (EN)
152 SUMMARY Tourism information offices are the most functional units of the industry of tourism in both national and international means. These offices have a deterministic role upon the potential of the tourism industry with their advanced computer network. Because of this, the functionality of tourism industry is directly related to effectiveness of tourism information offices. The effectiveness of tourism information offices can be obtained only by emphasizing theoretical experience in the managing doctrine and re defining the term effectiveness by means of efficiency. The most important point in the tourism industry - which is a service industry - is the ideal information network. An ideal information network, gathers who needs and who meets the need together in a short time, using advanced data transfer network. Staff organization, physical design of the office, computer system and extensive telecommunication resources, attract attention as the most important factors in the effectiveness of Tourism Information Offices.
