Discussions on the flexibility in Turkish working life and reflections to article 4857 of the labour law

iiABSTRACTThe subject of the thesis named "Discussions on the Flexibility in TurkishWorking Life and Reflections to Article 4857 of the Labour Law " is evaluation ofthe global understanding of approaching to flexibility, contents of the discussions onflexibility in the arrangements which are accelerated by EU adaptation law codes andreflection of these discussions on the Article 4857 of the Labour Law.Nowadays, economic development and employment model of industrialsociety tends to leave it's place to a new system. In this new system, flexibility isaccepted as a complementary element of the new structure and holds an importantplace in today's management and organization thought. This is why there occursstrong discussions about the necessity of flexible models instead of rigid models inboth economic system and employment relations which have the same rigid logic ofeconomic system. Naturally flexibility tendency directly affects legal arrangements.The basic highlighted points in this study are; to evaluate discussions on theflexibility in working life based on Turkey model and to bring up how and and howmuch reflected on the Article 4857 of the Labour Law relating to law arrangements.
