Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this master's thesis, which deals with the election offenses regulated in 133 and following Law No. 298 on Key Provisions of Elections and Electoral Registers; is to examine the electoral law, the subsequent election offenses, the elements and forms of the related offenses, the characteristics of the offenses, the special appearance forms of the offenses, the competent courts in the trial, the qualified cases, the investigation and prosecution forms, the sanctions and current development by utilizing the previous studies on the subject and the legislator's regulations on the subject; in this way, to provide the reader with a wide range of information on the subject. Since the subject of thestudy is on an interdisciplinary basis, both the constitutional and criminal law aspects of the subject were examined, the concept of election in constitutional law and the stages it has göne through until today and the current developments, doctri- nal differences and decisions of the Supreme Court have been utilized during the examination of the crime. However; since the offenses of the subject matter are related to the offense of falsification and destruction of the official document, and the direct reference to the offenses in some articles, the legal benefit protected in the offenses against public trust is also examined.
