Abstract (EN)
The study titled "Historical Novel in Turkish Literature (2000 and After)", which is based on a review of nineteen historical novels, the first editions of which were between 2000-2022, determines the reflection of political and social developments and changes on the novels, and is based on the analysis of the novels in terms of structure and thematic. Theoretical information about historical novels is also detailed, historical novel definitions, features, development in world and Turkish literature are revealed; The concepts of postmodernism and New Historicism are also mentioned. The historical novels discussed were analyzed based on this information. It is expected that the study will provide a better understanding of the period in question in the historical novel and will be a source for future studies.
