Abstract (EN)
Birts is on indispensable factor of life. The existence of nations, maintaning their culture , the available population, the growing generatins ara of them is because of birht. To maket he birth continualley and encourage poople to give birth ,cultures,make it entartaing rituals. Human baby is a valuable treasure. That's why their birth nested with festivals and fun. Taboo has got two aspects. This taboos shows us what is the objectionable sides and avaidable human adapt themselves other povers. İn this writing the of birth rituals are examined. İn this writing ,writter sources birth traditions. In the first part of this writing, theree are evoluations about the taboo of birth, the taboo it self, taboo theories, in the Turkish culture,taboo is forbidden belief. In the second part of the writing family ,birth and the taboo of birth are mentioned . Turkish family and kinship terms are given place to in this writing. This writing get the title of the taboo and birth in the Turkish it is give information about the birth culture and taboo in the Turkish from prenatal to past notal. İn this writing olso, it is determined that some of the beliefs about birth are still contiue despite modern age. Keywords: Turkish culture, taboo, birht, folklore.
