Problems encountered in teaching Turkish as a foreign language (Example of Turkey-India)

Turkish is one of the most important languages of the world that is wanted to be learned in India too. Foreigner students in India and Indian students who want to learn Turkish, learned the language by coming to Turkey at the universities of Turkish language learning centre (TOMER) like learning at Turcology department in India's university and Yunus Emre Institute of cultural centre. In this study, general informations about the education given to the students studying Turkish in India will be given. Foreign students have to use only the native language of Turkish and thus by completing their education with difficulties in learning and after that a preparatory program (TOMER) that provides a better way of learning Turkish when they come to Turkey for master program. In this study, the education given in Turkey is compared with the education given in India along with the sources they used and a result is aimed accordingly. A resource will be created to help overcome these difficulties for the difficulties faced by the students learning Turkish in India along with the foreigner students learning Turkish in Turkey in the process of learning and using the Turkish language. For the comparison of the problems, a total of 100 participants' survey data result of the difficulties faced by the students and graduated students while learning Turkish in India and Turkey will be determined and solutions for these will be given.
