Printing techniques and new approaches in packaging design in Turkey

In this study, the development of printing techniques and the notion of design throughout history were investigated through a general perspective and the progression of the sector as well as technical improvements and packaging design concepts were analyzed. The features of products of printing technologies and their operational principles as well as areas of use and materials for packaging varieties were studied. Additionally, the historical progress of printing machinery was discussed. Along with a general assessment packaging print technology with regards to research and development projects on printing graphical design, projections about the future were analyzed. In addition, the characteristics of these new techniques were specified as well as describing how the printing process takes place using these techniques and determining the features of the designs of the products manufactured with the help of these printing systems.
