Abstract (EN)

Parliamentary commissions are the places where draft laws and proposals are argued and finalized. In this sense, commissions play a role in one of the most important stages of the process of law making. So commissions have great importance in the conduct of parliamentary activities. Nowadays, commissions have become an indispensable element of parliaments. For this reason, the work of the commissions and how political parties, which are indispensable element of democratic political life, participate to activities of commission are needed to be closely examined. In this study, the contributions of commissions to the legislative actions, working methods, the way that they affect the general assembly are discussed in a comprehensive way. Starting from the history of the Parliament and the commissions; formation of commissions, working conditions, how workings reflect to General Assembly are tried to be conveyed to the reader in a systematic way.
