Abstract (EN)
This study focuses on the analysis of competitive forces acting on the Turkish Cement Industry. Michael Porter?s Five Factor Model (which included 1- Competitive rivalry within an industry, 2- Threat of new entrants, 3-Threat of substitute products, 4- Bargaining power of customers, 5- Bargaining power of suppliers) was used as the frame of a questionnaire survey undertaken with the members of Association of Turkish Cement Producers. Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS 15.0 were used to analyze the questionnaire results.Keywords: Competition,Turkey, Cement, Turkish Cement Manufacturers' Association, Plant
