Abstract (EN)
In this research, the "education inspector" training methods has investigated in turkey during the republican era. The period examined has separated into four periods within itself. Thus, the inspection system from the establishment date of the Republican (1923-1950, 1950- 1980, 1980- 2002- and 2002- ) up to now, the inspectors training method, the kind of training programs they get through during this process has examined. At the same time, it reveals whether the method of training is compatible with the process of training inspectors in a scientific sense, and which methods are used in the process of training inspectors, in which periods inspectors got more efficiency from training programs applied and what problems they encounter while training inspectors. In this study, a qualitative research model and document analysis were used to obtain more reliable information. A literature review was conducted on the subject of the study, the assembled data were analyzed and interpreted according to the purpose. In the relevant periods, many revisions were made in the inspection system, along with the laws, regulations, and circulars regarding the inspection. For the inspection system to reach its purpose, it should be performed according to scientific principles and methods. In this context, the traditional inspection approach was applied in the education system in the first years of the period and inspectors were trained with pre-service and in-service training. In the republican era, various methods have been tried in the field of training of inspectors. Within this period, it has been attached importance to analyzed training methods in detail and integrity. A large part of the inspectors was assigned by selecting candidates who have been teaching. The training of inspectors was provided by subjecting them to in-service training courses. Nowadays, education inspection has been accepted as a branch of education, and education inspectorate has become a professional occupation. At present, the general view on the training of inspectors, pre-service training of universities, namely undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate-level training programs have been opened to enable the inspectors to be trained more qualified. In line with the principle of continuous development, studies to improve the efficiency of educational supervision and training inspectors continued.
