Abstract (EN)

The idea of national economics has been developed by the Committee of Union and Progress and within this context fundamental practices were came up during the first World War. Accompanied by the foundation of Republic, the practices of national economics have been carried on in accordance with the economical decisions of the Lozan Treaty and the principal causes foreseen at the İzmir Economics Congress. T. İş Bankası is the first fundamental association established during the mentioned progress. The Bank has been established with the instruction and allocated initial capital of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and showed rapid development by an administrative structure which was under control of Atatürk. T. İş Bankası had an effect on the economical issues as well as the political issues and exercised and effectual spokesman of the capital owners during one party era. Generally evaluated, 1923-1929 has been a time of period where the idea of national economics was taken possession and applied within a relatively liberal manner.
