The feasibility of the books used in the cours music theory and ear training education at the university's fine arts education department music education branch in Turkey

The purpose of this study was to determine the books used in the courseentitled ?Music Theory and Ear Training Education? , to evalute their feasibility formusic education, and to make contributions to the books written for coursementioned.This study falls into descriptive resarch cathegory. The method used werestatistical analysis and corelation. In the study, the books used Music Theory and EarTraining courses were determined by asking the faculty staff teaching the course.The results were shown in tables. Next, the data was evoluated, and in the light of theresults, some suggestions were made.The results of the study showed that the solfege boks used in Music Theoryand Ear Training Education at Education Faculties Fine Arts Departments MusicEducation Branches in Turkey were feasible for music education at a satisfactorylevel.Key words: Music Theory and Ear Training, Solfege, Solfege Books.
