The Examination Of Practices Towards The Rising Of Gate Revenue Of Soccer Clubs In Türkiye

With the developments in the communacation technology, soccer has beenwatched in live broadcasts by billions of people all over the world and increased itsinterest and affection deeply. As a result of this affection and interest to soccer,countries and soccer clubs have beeen giving great importanceon soccer sector in orderto take many supporters in it by the help of national and international soccerorganizations.Because of the fact that soccer has been getting industrialized, small clubs,having economical dilemma and crisis except the big ones, have been trying to find newincome sources. In the firs step, these clubs have increased the ticket prices of tematches,but the number of supporters, coming to the stadiums has decreased and thenthey have tried to take some precautions, but unfortunately most of them wereinsufficient.Through this thesis, the prices and incomes of some matches of soccer clubshave been examined. Some other topics are such as; the demographic and socioeconomicalproperties of supporters who don?t go to stadiums, the reasons of why theydon?t go to matches, the relations between the negative reasons and various variables,expectations of suppporters who want to go stadiums in the follwing seasons and therelations between the demographical variables and differences of the groups.Finally, in the light of the findings, taken from the research, some suggestionshave been given. It is thought that those suggestions will be helpful in order to increasethe incomes of match tickets and also effective in the soccer economy researches in thefollowing years.Key Words: Soccer, Club, Stadium, Spectator, Gate Revenue
