Abstract (EN)

The world population increasing day by day and the subsequent consumption demand, brings climate change with it. It is possible to clearly see the reflection of the damage in the atmosphere in recent years with the changes in the usual Turkish climate. In this study, analyzes have been carried out on the extent to which hydrological energy resources are affected by climate change in response to the energy demand of the increasing population. Between 1979 and 2019, Turkey's average precipitation and temperature amounts were analyzed using ERA5 satellite data. According to the 30-year data analysis of Turkey, the average areal precipitation amount was found to be 527.61 mm and the average temperature value was 13.34 ° C. In the last 30 years, serious changes have been detected in temperature and precipitation parameters. Between 1979 and 2019, an increase of 0.87 ° C in the average temperature value and a decrease of 45.89 mm in the amount of precipitation were determined. In order to evaluate the effects of these parameters, the recorded flow rates of 5 stations determined from DSI Flow and Observation Annuals were obtained and the topographic characteristics of these stations were examined. Consistent results were obtained at four of the five stations, based on increasing temperature and decreasing precipitation. Between 1979 and 2019, an increase was observed in the amount of flow at the stations in the years when the average areal precipitation increased. It was determined that four of the stations had dry months in years that were above the average temperature value of Turkey during this period.
