Community mental health centers in turkey investigation of web sites

Abstract (EN)

Objective: In this study, Community Mental Health Centers in Turkey (TRSM) is aimed to study the website. Method: T.C. Ministry Communication Center (BİMER) in writing to the community in Turkey electronically Mental Health Centers and the names of the hospitals they are affiliated requesting a written application is made. As a result of this application, 152 the Community Mental Health Center where the patient was admitted was included in the research. During the review, the name of the relevant Community Mental Health Center for the google search engine was used to evaluate the information on its own website or on the website of the hospital to which it belongs. When the website was evaluated, it was analyzed according to 23 criteria, categorized as "Agency Information", "Information For Target Group" and "Useful (Useful Information)". Findings: It was seen that 76.9% of the TRSM examined had no related page in the hospital and 99.3% of them did not have their own website. It was determined that in TRSM 17.1%, TRSM is in the center, 13.1% is for people, 19.7% is in services, 18.4% is address, 17.7% is phone and 6.5% is sketch map information. Most TRSMs did not meet most of the criteria in the "Useful Information" category. Conclusion: As a result of the study, it was seen that TRSMs did not show sufficient advantages on the internet and did not take advantage of the possibilities of introducing the internet. In the same way, it has been realized how hard it is to reach the centers and get the right information from these centers, which have many benefits for their relatives and relatives.
