The use of digital illustration in festival poster desings in Turkey

The history of design started with the first pictures drawn in caves. Graphic design has developed a lot until it comes to digital platforms. People used visual arts to express their feelings and thoughts. Posters are part of these visual examples. Posters have become functional as part of visual art, events that have become traditional, established in the society and have become the symbol of a region, namely festivals. The information age we live in has changed and has taken place in all areas of our developed lives. Computers were used in graphic design and started to be preferred in the field of Illustration. Digital Illustrations are used much more in graphic design applications today than traditional Illustrations. In this thesis, festivals with many aspects such as religion, politics, ethnicity, structure and so on, which are a big part of our lives in Turkey, and the use of digital Illustrations on posters that are a part of visual ways are mentioned.
