Swot analysis and policy recommendations for road transport in Turkey

Logistics is the process of delivering materials such as raw materials and intermediates from the point of origin to the consumer. Logistics is a complex process. It includes transport, customer service, storage, insurance, customs clearance, handling, demand planning, order management, purchase and supply activities. Transportation, which is one of logistics activities, is carried out in many modes. One of these modes is road transport. Road transportation is the most widely used mode in Turkey. This study's topic is about the current situation of road transportation in Turkey and recommendations to increase the quality of this mode. The current situation analysis (SWOT) of road transport will be made then given suggestion on what can be done to make it better. Threats must be disposal. This study includes strategic and political suggestions for this topic.
