Abstract (EN)

The roots of the commercial and political relations between Egypt and Türkiye date back to very old times. The relations between the two countries, which began even before the Ottoman period, continue today. It is observed that the commercial relations established by the two countries, which are considered the locomotives of commercial and military power in the Eastern Mediterranean, are of great importance for the region. Following the Free Trade Agreement signed between the two countries in 2005 and implemented in 2007, great leaps have been made in the commercial relations between the two countries. The relations between the two countries, which are much more stable compared to other countries in the region, are in a much more vital position than the relations established with other countries in the region. In order to understand the value of the commercial relations established between Egypt and Türkiye, an attempt was made to evaluate the data in the study conducted. In order to make a healthy evaluation of the data, an attempt was made to take the Arab Spring process in particular as a basis. The main reason for this situation is that the Arab Spring process provides objective data.
