Abstract (EN)
In this research, Turkey is compared with the member and candidate states of European Union in terms of her socio-economic variables. For that reason, the data from 2003 which are related to 14 variables among those frequently used in the developmental research and which belong to the countries in the scope of this research are used. In this research, Principal Components Analysis which is a kind of multivariate statistical analysis is applied considering the variables used and the results to be achieved. Key Words 1.
