Turkey's soft power and public diplomacy in Central Asia

Relations between states have a history of thousands of years, and states have always given importance to establishing good relations with each other, and from time to time preferred to solve their problems through war. However, the destructiveness and cost of wars highlight the option of peaceful resolution of problems. As a result, diplomacy emerged as a method and developed. Every state has soft power as well as hard power. States have used public diplomacy as a tool to show their soft power. Public diplomacy is the most used tool in international relations today. Turkey is among the countries that use public diplomacy effectively, and it continuously develops its activities in this field with various tools. The main purpose of the thesis is to reveal Turkey's public diplomacy in Central Asia.
