Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to examine the attitude research conducted by teacher candidates towards science teaching between 2002 and 2023, scanned in Google Scholar, Dergi-Park, Piri Discovery Tool and the National Thesis Center database of the Council of Higher Education. For this purpose, studies determined according to the criteria; Types of studies, distribution by years, sample types of studies, program studied by prospective teachers, grade levels, purposes of studies, contents of studies, method, study group, data collection tools, types of scales, data analysis methods and results of the studies were examined. This method used content and descriptive analysis to analyze the data obtained through document review. The results obtained showed that the highest number of studies were carried out between 2012 and 2016, and the number of studies with university grade levels was General (1, 2, 3,4) and 4th Grade. When the study types are examined, it is among the results that the number of articles on the subject is higher, although not sufficient. Although there are many studies in which the locations of the universities where the studies were conducted are not clearly stated, it has been found that the universities where the most studies in this field have been carried out are Hacettepe University and Gazi University. Among the sample types of studies, cluster sampling was most preferred. As a result of examining the aims of the studies with only attitude, effect, variable and other categories in Science, it was determined that the effect of the concepts given with the attitude and the category of the given concepts were the most preferred. When the content of the studies was examined, it was determined that the content of attitudes towards science was included in all studies, while self-efficacy beliefs had the most content in the studies. In this study, which examined the research conducted with prospective teachers, it was stated that the number of studies conducted with individuals whose study group was science was higher than the program they studied. Considering the study group size, the most studies were in the range of 0-100 people. When the methods and models used in the studies were examined, it was determined that the quantitative screening model was most preferred. Scale types were the most preferred tools used in data collection. When considering the scale types, the "Attitude Scale towards Science Teaching", created by Thomson and Shrigley (1986) and adapted by Özkan, Tekkaya and Çakıroğlu (2002), was the most used scale. The most commonly used method in data analysis was the t test. When the results obtained in the studies are examined, it is stated that the number of studies reaching positive effects is high. In this study, the importance of science teaching for teacher candidates is emphasized. It is recommended that studies be carried out in this field as increasing the number of studies supporting this purpose and bringing them into the scientific world will contribute to the training of individuals.
