Abstract (EN)
Foods produced or supplied more than need, evaluated as out ouf supply chain in any process are referred to food waste. While attempts aimed to decrase that waste are already occurred both in Turkey and World, it is obligated to resolve waste problem. In this study, following studies has done in order to prevent food materials which are still appropriate for consuming; • Providing analytical consults about consumer behaviour to food supplier • Designin and coding mobile application which can be used by both consumers and suppliers together In the master thesis restaurants, cafes, markets and supermarkets which are food supplier were chosen as waste point. Database was formed using a survey due to measure consumer behaviour. Survey questions prepared as measuring consumer orientation in the waste points such as awareness of waste revention, price, freshness and gaining money. These parameters are decided by an expert whom has been working in food retail sector for 9 years. Data gathered was analyzed by using SPSS program according to hypothesis defined. 4 parameters explained above defined by an expert as consumer orientation analyzed using AHP method also therefore validation of survey results. Results were used desingning mobile application considering literature knowledge also.
