Abstract (EN)

This study aims to examine the intensification of word bases in the dialects of Türkiye Turkish dialects by means of phonetic events, affixes and affix extension. The study is structured by analyzing the language analysis, text and dictionary sections compiled by researchers across Türkiye from past to present and included in the relevant works within the framework of the literature. The main objective of the research is to identify the forms, rules, similarities, and differences of extensions related to phonetic events in the word bases, as well as intensifications made through affixes and affix extensions, across different dialect regions in Türkiye. In this context, vowel-consonant derivations at the end of the word, consonant twinning, pre-syllable derivations, syllable derivations at the end of the word, intensification made with grammatical elements such as inflectional and constructional affixes, verb-phoneme expansions for intensification purposes and the extensions seen in these affixes were compared according to the dialect regions and the usage patterns of this language richness, which is a way of expression, in the dialects were determined. This research on intensifiers related to phonetic events in word bases and intensifiers through affixes and affix extensions in Turkish dialects is limited to the territories of the Republic of Türkiye in an administrative and political context. The intensification types were evaluated in terms of extensions related to phonetic events in word bases, intensifications with inflectional affixes, extensions based on inflectional affix intensification, intensifications with derivational affixes, and intensifications based on the extension of verbal affixes. The document analysis method was used in the research. In the findings section, descriptive analyses were conducted and the obtained results were also visualized. Intensifications occurring in word bases are concentrated in the Western group in terms of data variety. The main reason for this diversity is the wider area covered by the Western group compared to other main dialect groups. The data variety also manifests itself in the intensifications made with inflectional and derivational affixes in the Western group dialects compared to other groups. The intensification semantic phenomenon emerges as a simultaneous reflection of diachronic historical processes. This situation has been identified in extensions related to phonetic events in word bases, extensions based on inflectional and derivational affixes, and intensifications made with the extension of verbal affixes.
