Spaital analysis of real estate acquisition by foreigners in Turkey: Ankara Çankaya example

Acquisition of real estate by foreigners is a subject that maintains its importance from past to present and therefore is subject to new regulations. Acquisition of real estate by foreigners; the sovereignty of the states, based on historical and geographical factors, has maintained its sensitivity and importance throughout history. The necessity of regulations for the interests and security of the country is emphasized through the study. Real estate acquisitions of foreign real persons in Turkey are examined spatially and information about the applications in other countries is given by referring to the regulations performed in this regard from past to present. In the study, the acquisition of citizenship, one of the factors in the acquisition of real estate by foreigners, and the facilitation of the acquisition conditions of foreigners since the enactment of the 6302 law, and increase in recent years, were examined on the basis of nationality, province and district. According to these regulations, it has been observed that the acquisition of real property by foreigners in Turkey is facilitated and foreigners are encouraged in this direction. In the light of the data obtained from the Foreign Affairs Department of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, graphic and quantitative analyzes were carried out in the Çankaya district of Ankara province.
